The female attendees have shown that some favorites include clothing such as Armani dresses, Kooba handbags, Laurel Hutton makeup, and even stays at luxury hotels in Las Vegas and Cabo. The men tend to be most impressed by the free electronics such as the Plasma tvs, including the ever popular Sony Wega tv. Also popular are credits to compete in online poker and online gambling sites.

It has come to the attention of the government that these gifts are being accepted, yet no taxes are being paid on them. Now, it is understandable for an everyday citizen to receive a pair of Calvin Klein jeans and not report it as a gift. But, these items that the stars are receiving are valued somewhere up to $80,000 for the big time events. That is over double the average household income, yet it is completely untaxed. Just imagine, a free plasma tv, designer Kooba handbags, Verizon Wireless camera phones, and credits to play online poker for free! Untaxed! I don’t know about you, but I believe that perks of this level, given to those that can easily afford the items themselves, deserve to chip in to Uncle Sam.

Maybe a new item that should be thrown in is a new version of Tax Software to give these star the tax help they need. Unfortunately that would result in even higher taxes, requiring even more tax help.
